Great Richmond graffiti short documentary by my buddy Brad Perry. This video was one of his final projects during his career as a graduate student at The Brandcenter. It was an honor helping him.

“Gated Community is a book addressing graffiti and incarceration, specifically relating to the experience of former Richmond, Virginia based vandal, Mickael Broth. In 2004, he began serving ten months of a forty-eight month jail sentence. The book details many of his experiences both in jail and on the street, while also addressing how these topics are viewed by society at large.
The book, part one of three, focuses on Mickael’s crimes and arrest. It includes visuals from his work on the street, as well as legal documents.”
This sweet video link was sent to me from Nils Westergard featuring his latest mural on the side of Edos Squid.

I’ve been hanging out in DC for the past two days so I haven’t been able to post any pictures of RVA art. So for today - I grant you a taste of what Washington DC has to offer.
The first one is a pro-woman wheat paste, the left is a wheat paste, to the right is a stencil about 5 feet high (look at the stones below for scale - it’s a really dope stencil, and the bottom is just a mix of stuff.
Until I get back,
Enjoy
