Graffiti Richmond

Photos and videos of street art, graffiti, tags, wheat pastes, yarn bombs, stencils, an so on located on the fine streets of Richmond Virginia. Feel free to submit your findings to Graffitirichmond@gmail.com seeing as it's hard to catch 'em all before they're buffed. Remember: No photos of people in the illegal act. And no, I don't work for the cops-ain't nobody got time for that.

East Bound and Downin’ it

Great Richmond graffiti short documentary by my buddy Brad Perry. This video was one of his final projects during his career as a graduate student at The Brandcenter. It was an honor helping him.

How We Roll

I don’t normally do promo stuff but I’ve noticed a trend between my followers and those who dig cars. There’s a pretty sick RVA/Southeast based blog on rides. Check it out and follow if you’re interested in cars or simply if you’re interested in more Richmond digs.

“Gated Community is a book addressing graffiti and incarceration, specifically relating to the experience of former Richmond, Virginia based vandal, Mickael Broth. In 2004, he began serving ten months of a forty-eight month jail sentence. The book details many of his experiences both in jail and on the street, while also addressing how these topics are viewed by society at large. The book, part one of three, focuses on Mickael’s crimes and arrest. It includes visuals from his work on the street, as well as legal documents.”
