// Recycling spray paint cans//

I have spoken to a few of you about recycling spray paint cans and upon speaking to a couple of employees for Richmond City recycling I have learned that they don’t have the space for it.

I’m a little disappointed because I can think of plenty of artists who are sitting on tons of cans due to fear of getting in trouble (even those who use only canvas) I had one fellow tell me he puts his in a black trash bag and dumps them off at random (come on dude)

Anyway, cans can run a bit of a risk if overheated. The pressure can build leading to the cans bursting. I am more than willing to release pressure and extra paint myself if a proper receptacle is available.

If anyone has any information on another way in which these cans can be reused or properly discarded please let me know.
